People use ThinkOrSwim and paper trade (in fact, it prompts you to pick real or paper trading every time you open it).
Or they use PlebbitHood and just do "inspect element" to change the graphs and balances. (There was even a video on YT showing how.)

But the non-LARPers who actually do gamble with options in this way are retarded.
Options, unlike stocks, mature at some point, and upon maturity (expiration) they are worthless. Gambling $125k with near-term OTM calls to make $4mm risks you losing much or all of your $125k.
At least with actual shares, which don't expire, you can just hold for months or years, waiting for the stock to advance, collecting and reinvesting the dividends.

Right this is going to sound really dumb but is it possible to get into negative amounts of money when trading options or whatever? Like say I make a $1000 gamble on Tesla and something goes wrong could I end up with -2000 oris the worse case scenario that I just lose that money? And yes I know I sound like a total noob and some of you are going to want to chew me out over this but remember we all start somewhere.

In real terms, the dollars devaluation is happening, what will outpace the race to the bottom? What will hold value in a hyperinflationary scenario?
