how is the rest of the world so oblivious to bitcoin? name another way I can send you $100,000 without knowing your name, location, or any other personal information, electronically, from anywhere in the world, with no organization in the middle, for fees less than 0.01%? are people really this stupid???

and that's without smart contracts, oracles, or stablecoins. it blows my mind every day bitcoin doesn't explode to $100K overnight. we're still early bros. bobos will get rekt.

Because no one needs it.
How many times has OP sent $100,000 to someone in another country?

USDT or any other stable coins, and you don't risk loosing 5k in the process

this. the only use bitcoin has is to launder money, thats it. 99.9% of the bulltards have never even sold it, much less sent it to someone else as payment. cope

Ethereum can do this.

...with all of these too.
BTC is dead people just haven't realized yet.

I used to think this way too. But the difference is the BTC has a cap on its supply. ETH doesn't. The BTC will forever have its place as digital gold while Ethereum will be the world's decentralized computer.

i'm straight up unbanking myself this year. talking to a bank is always a fucking headache. which is rediculous because i PAY them for their services which apparently do nothing for me anyways. BTC atm's and being in control of my funds is the way to go. just gotta figure out how my employer will pay me without direct deposit...or rather the cheapest way to cash a cheque...
>inb4 muh transaction fees
they're way cheaper and i know the money is going towards keeping the currency stable. not into the pockets of some faceless nameless overlord.

>> No.17091102

>>17090832
It's tough for employers right now to pay in BTC because it would assume they have a stockpile of it. I am sure there are services out there that can do this, but not sure of their trustworthiness. ETH would be good for this.

My bank pays me and I haven't had to actually talk to them or even go inside one in years.
I guess you're hit with monthly service fees because you can't even keep the $100 minimum balance.
Also I seem to go through life just fine without paying "transaction fees" on anything.

The rest of the world doesn't care about muh decentralization. They are perfectly fine paying with their debt cards, and calling Wells Fargo and knowing if their is fraud, it can be dealt with.

Normies don't want to be in charge of their money and deal with that hassle. Nobody cares. People pay eachother with Venmo. Even people in crypto don't even pay eachother in crypto.

It's all speculation to make money.

It's because

1. Normies don't care about their privacy unless it involves nude pictures of themselves

2. Normies like having a middle man who can fix things if they fuck up (and normies fuck up constantly)

3. Normies don't mind paying more as long as they get to have a middle man who fixes their fuck ups and who they can shift the blame on

That's all there is to it
