Even if he is Satoshi, big blocks will never work.

>> No.17087058

Why not? If a miner gets continually orphaned because their block is too big, they'll just mine smaller blocks. The market decides what is cost effective

LN Segwit and Taproot are pretty elegant. I'm happy with what we've got on real Bitcoin.

“The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling.” – Satoshi Nakamoto (April 2009)

Satoshi was right?? Guys wake up.

>> No.17087564

>>17087399

Lightning is way more elegant than Bitcoin itself, since the network model can be applied to any coin or blockchain. The implications to this are vast.

Layer one is a dead end. Satoshi was wrong.

https://bitcoinist.com/craig-wright-bonded-courier-lawsuit/

"In a prior document that he filed in court, he claimed that he owned the private keys to wallet:

16cou7Ht6WjTzuFyDBnht9hmvXytg6XdVT, which was owned by an anonymous Bitcoin Whale.

Much to Craig’s surprise, the anonymous owner of that wallet address signed a message with the private key that said “Address 16cou7Ht6WjTzuFyDBnht9hmvXytg6XdVT does not belong to Satoshi or to Craig Wright. Craig is a liar and a fraud.”"

"Wright has also claimed that the infamous “Bonded Courier” was an attorney, and so therefore his communications are privileged, and cannot be shared."

"Perhaps the most absurd turn of events is Mr. Wright’s claim that the infamous Bonded Courier who was supposed to provide him with the private keys for Satoshi’s Bitcoin, is actually also an attorney, and is therefore protected under attorney client privilege. This renders the alleged attorney unable to provide more information about the courier, or the circumstances surrounding the elusive private keys."

Big blocks work just fine, and are also a minimum requirement for Bitcoin to work as intended.

>> No.17088310

Price pumps less when you increase the blocks. Do you really want price to pump less so that people use it? I'd rather have people buy the coin and just hold it and make it as hard as possible for them to sell.

With this logic BTC his $150b. BSV is just another BCH meme that won't make it. Hex will make it though:

big and small blocks is a relative term not a specific size. full blocks are small blocks. can be unbound in time but not practically unbound at any moment.

>> No.17088390

>>17088336

Yes, they can be unbound completely, as BSV just made a point of doing. If a miner mines a block that's too large for the rest of the miners, they will simply orphan it; it's a self-regulating mechanism.
