Is Altria a good contrarian investment? I want to long JUUL. I believe the moral panic is based on clueless boomers thinking nicotine = cigarettes, or rather it's a deliberate misinformation campaign by the FDA in order to stop the "teen vaping epidemic" (cry me a river, I got hooked on this crap a year ago and quit in just 2 months by buying offbrand nicotine salts and slowly diluting them). Long term e-cigs seem like a good investment. Juul is expensive as shit, but smoking it is really nice. The only reason I quit is because it made me poor.

Thoughts? Dividend is at 7%. It's probably going to get cut, isn't it?

Suppose the ONTX trials are all very positive, results is very very good better than expected. Ok. All current drugs to fight this cancer is all 10 years old and all are "bargain binned" to boot. So Big Pharma is hurting for new profit. The last few big buyouts have all been cancer related drugs. Add to that the cheap share price of ONTX. It don't take much to assume that if ONTX delivers very very good results that Big Pharma may take note.

Watch some Youtube videos about brokers, terms, indicators and strategies. Then start with like $500 and try to grow it a bit till you feel comfortable and then put more money. This shit's easier than playing video games. Only retards lose money in the stock market thus proving that the grand majority of people in the world are fucking idiots.

Just know that there is nothing worse than Robinhood. That shit's designed to make you lose money. I only use it as a Savings account because of the 1.80% APY. When it comes to free commission nothing beats TD Ameritrade with its Free Level 2 real-time quotes. This is literally the only free commission platform that offers that, if you want faster then you'll have to pay for something like Lightspeed Trading or something.

From the investor Dec 2019 pdf they've got enough cash to last them till 2021. Also this conference was put together damn fast. The one in march was supposed to be the first one of this year. So I kinda lean on this being good news of some sort. Maybe the drug trial results they've been talking about perhaps. I mean hell when you honestly look at it what has happened to the company to cause the stock to drop after they did the cash raise? Not a damn thing. Nothing bad. It's all been games and fear over the china virus that's driven the stock down. The latest news was that they kicked the china partner they had to the curb after they failed to hold up their end of the deal. So now ONTX can dangle the drug over china and say "here is the drug; here is our price; you want it, pay up now or watch as your people die" Pretty simple. Brutal but hey profit is profit.

Good job getting out. I’m bullish on TSLA looooong term but it’s important not to get too greedy in these euphoric markets.

That said, I’ll definitely be monitoring the options tomorrow for a good entry point, if it looks like it’ll pump hard again.

PCG shat down to 3.55 a share during all the fires and bankruptcy shat. It's now at over 17.65 and still a going. $1000 would've netted you 281 shares. 281 x 17.65 = 4959.65. Why bring it up? People thought PCG was toast so they bailed. Bet now they wish they bought in at the low. ONTX is kinda the same boat. People are kinda bailing. Give it time. Soon you'll be kicking yourself for not standing strong.

Probably more to do with the bills for counseling they have to pay for the human screeners who have to watch the beheadings and rapes and sicko pedoshit that gets put up there. I’ve been on the Chans for a while, but I know that would take a toll.

It's not a big cut they would be able to take to be competitive (i think patreon takes ~6% and paypal ~3%) but it should be better than 0% when people use a non-alphabet service, plus you lock people further into the alphabet echo system.

True and that's why the market is being indecisive about how to respond to it. There is both good and bad from a western market perspective here: Good in that this puts China at a disadvantage on future trade negotiations for the time being. They can't be as stubborn on certain points as they were able to be before. Bad is that a lot of companies have factories in China, and pull in decent revenue from Chinese sales, so they can be hurt by this even if western economy remains strong.

I was looking at the chart and its 20x'd in the last decade. not bad for buying something and just letting it sit as it makes you money. but i was thinking about it, visa/mc are probably one of the safest/best long-term investments anyone can make. there will always be new debt products, everyone is maxing out their cards, people cant pay it back for shit, interest rates on cards are 20% which is steep to say the least, and the population is growing. im seriously considering just buying 1-2 shares of visa/mc a month and just building it up. anyone else have any thoughts?

You saw the exact same popular takes on Amazon, Apple, and Google proclaiming that they were bubbles as they rose to power. The popularity of a stock or even parabolic action does not indicate a bubble by themselves, the only thing that really does is value or asset price compared to stock price, so the question at hand is if TSLA is extremely overvalued to the point where it could go crashing down to $420 or $180 or below within a short period of time and that is implausible. The valuation of Waymo alone is almost as high as TSLA. A pullback or a correction in inevitable at some point, as with any stock, but that's very different than saying it's going to pop.

If you truly felt it was a bubble, where are your long term puts? Do you have cash ready for shorting it? You won't have to eat your words if you're wrong about this because you don't have any stake in it. It's easy to claim that it's a bubble, which is why people do it, but that very likely isn't the reality of this situation.
