The funding round is over. They start trading on the nasdaq this morning. As for buying an IPO during funding round... yeah ask your broker. I don't think i'd ever do that though. So many IPOs plunge on their first day of trading. It's easier and usually better tactics to trade the thing on the market after listing.

Thailand has human 2 human inside Thailand
19 cases now
Cab Driver
https://www.yahoo.com/news/thailand-confirms-first-human-human-091312151.html

How coronavirus outbreak will play out in your location

Stage 1) First cases, early panic begins at this point. Hospitals have some room.

Stage 2) start getting to hundreds of cases. Hospitals are overloaded already. Only critical cases accepted, rest told to stay at home and only go to the hospital when dying.

Stage 3) The dying are told to stay at home. Half of healthcare workers infected. Healthcare supply already used up.

Stage 4) No healthcare supply left. Streets empty. Survival stage. Some will get violent, police will be everywhere, martial law. No healthcare, and fight for spots at hospitals.

This is when death rate spikes. If it was 2% with healthcare, it goes to 10% now, everyone dying. Bodies piling up, literally, bodies on side of the street, outside homes, etc.

Even if you isolate yourself. You will eventually get it unless you wait for vaccine, aka avoiding human contact for year+. Older relatives are most at risk.

You need months of supplies and be prepared if you avoid contracting it to spend a very long time waiting for a vaccine

Even with masks, you probably have no idea how to properly use them.

BANGKOK, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Thailand has seen its first case of human-to-human transmission of the new coronavirus inside the country, a health official said on Friday.

The case is a Thai taxi driver, said Tanarak Pipat, deputy director-general of the Department of Disease Control.

"The Thai person who got infected does not have the record of traveling to China and it is likely that he was infected from a sick traveler from China," Tanarak said.

Thailand's previous cases have all been either Chinese tourists or Thais who had visited China, where the virus originated. (Writing by Kay Johnson; editing by John Stonestreet)

The market has to be pricing in a global pullback from China right now. The whole country is quarantined. What impact is that going to have on their gdp if they are shut down for just a week even? Then on top of that, this week is supposed to be big for sales on an annual basis because the Chinese New Year is one of if not the biggest holidays with many purchases supposed to happen. If they have a full on interruption in the supply chain, things could get way out of hand, and the govnt has a bad response track record in that regard.

>Virgin boy eggs are a traditional dish of Dongyang, Zhejiang, China in which eggs are boiled in the urine of young boys who were presumably peasants, preferably under the age of ten. Named "tong zi dan" (Chinese: 童子蛋; pinyin: Tóngzǐdàn), the dish translates literally to "boy egg" and is a springtime tradition of the city where the urine is collected from prepubescent peasant boys. The eggs have been listed by officials in China as a part of the region's "local intangible cultural heritage"

>AMRN
After multiple positive catalysts this month, the stock is down.

This is an FDA approved, best in class medication. With a strong showing in their latest patent case. All competitors are flunking trials. Legal monopoly for about ten years, assuming no new indications or goofy trial decisions. Cancer and diabetes research is ongoing.

Ok, so on to fundamentals: current drug price and current TAM about $4 billion in peak sales was a high-end estimate before the positive catalysts, now appears to be a mid-range estimate. A rough x5 peak sales valuation = $20b current value = $55+ per share PT. Add to that a BO premium of ??? BP can afford this, but not much more than that. Again, this assumes Judge Du doesn't rule the sky is green, and also assumes no new indications.

All of this is based on current drug pricing, current indications, and significant derisking from the past couple weeks. Credibility among prescribing medical professionals is also sharply up. Short interest % is in low- to mid-teens.

John Thero doesn't hate money. He hates getting lowballed. I will say it was interesting Gilead had next to nothing to say regarding strategy at JPM conference. Gilead is testing a triplet therapy including Vascepa, more opportunity for DD than most.

The kicker to all of this will be effects on global supply chain, the full extent we won’t understand for at least the next 2 weeks. Many factories in Chinkland are closed until early-mid February. So, all the companies are scrambling to develop contingency plans in the interim. Many workers traveled to Hubei province for the Chinese New Year, so companies will need to make the call to quarantine some of their workforce.

So, I think it’s reasonably safe to assume market is going to continue to tumble until we realize the full extent of global supply chain setbacks. Buy YANG as a hedge in the meantime, and buy SOXL all the way down for the moon once this all blows over (eventually).

I visited my family over the holidays and went to pick my younger sister up at our local mall. 10 years ago it was packed to the gills but these days it's almost completely empty.

Grocery stores and niche brick and mortar stores will never die but malls have been dead for years.

No, the virus is an excuse to dump, not the reason. The stock market has been in bubble territory for a long time and sadly all those bears who shorted got blown out by the FED. Let's see how long they can control the financial economy by printing more money.

It depends on what you think about the long term direction of the stock. My average is $220 and I intend to let it ride. I'm not that hurt by a $200 correction and I can walk away with profit at any time regardless of the performance of the stock. I think this is an ideal position to be in on a growth stock but it took a lot of guts not to sell as it kept reaching all time highs. It's a lot easier with a good entry point.

I think we will retest the all time high next week so maybe that would be the time to sell some of your stock if you were going to. It would be nice to have some money ready to go if it did dip, but it would be painful if it kept going up and you had no position.

You realize (((they're))) against Tesla more than anyone, right? Oil and ICE are trillion dollar industries by themselves. Then you have the auto insurance companies, the lawyers, the gas stations companies, and auto part manufacturers that are all being disrupted by Tesla so they have a vested interested in trying to make them fail.

You're a good goy for falling for their lies about the company and you still don't realize they fucked you.
