I understand it a bit. It's like you can pay a premuim to take a stock off the market and you get the Option and right to buy at this price. If it goes up in value you made money if it goes down you lost money. It's Waaaay more complex but you get the jist.

I've only done futures, as it doesn't require the same collateral as options. But you are swinging the wind if you don't have a large bank roll. Crypto is the best for small fish. I've lost much more on futures than crypto. But you go for it. Tell us how it works out.

If you directionally trade let's say you buy 1 option for 500$, if price goes in your direction you can make 50, 100% or more of those 500$ in a day or two but you also have a much higher chance to lose your 500$.
