When node operators literally can't keep up with demand and they have to borrow link from other people, for a fee, in order to provide enough collateral to service the smart contracts they are feeding info to.
In other words, a scenario that is years and years away and will only exist when Chainlink is fucking massive and the tokens are worth $100 already.
