Woah. XRP will be 60 cents in just one month?! Holy shit. That's just where it was 6 months ago!!! This changes everything. No wonder they killed him. I mean 60 cents? Am I hearing you right?! 60 fucking cents?!??!

If you don't have enough to retire off of it moving up 5% then you don't have enough, and should accumulate more.

Woah? Tomorrow? Like the day after this very moment? Like in literally 24 incremental time unit hours it will be 100% higher than it is now?!

Wait wait wait. No. You mean, and let me get this straight, you mean to tell me XRP... The digital asset crypto currency XRP... Will be 40 cents tomorrow? Unbelievable. I mean, I mean if people knew. If people fucking knew... 40 cents. Jeez

40 cents.

Woah hooold on... Now just let's hold our horses. Should you repeat it? You mean should you re-iterate the previous textual encoded information you previously transcribed from the neural network of your brain using electrical impulses to your fingers?!

Youre asking me if you... The anon I'm communicating with over a virtual information packet network... Should literally click the interactive html button "post a reply" then select the text of your previous post, right click copy, then proceed to drag your mouse indicator into the blank text input box, right click again, click paste, then proceed.... And I mean PROCEED to click the reCAPTCHA licensed anti virtual worm software button indicating "I am not a robot" then click the tiled buttons taken from various car cameras big tech companies use to indicate important vehicular markers for their autonomous driving technology, then click "verify" and then click the all important.... And I mean important, one and done, cross the Rubicon, no turning back "POST"?????

IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE ASKING ME?

nope. Lots of developers are using other oracle services besides link like Makerdao.
Meanwhile, XRP is being namedropped by the US congress, about to be even more well known with its IPO and will be recognized as an official currency

Ripple developed Smart oracles and Smart contracts 3 years before link even existed.

Ethereum founder vitalik tried to intern at ripple, after having a diner conversation with one of the lead developers at ripple he ran off to start his own project called Ethereum so he could claim first.

Same thing happened with Oracles for chainlink.

Centralized oracles and "smart" contracts have existed since forever. It's like comparing a steam engine with a nuclear power plant.

codius is a 3rd party and is open source and decentralized.

Chainlink is not open source and requires you to have an Ethereum node to even operate.

>> No.16991199

>>16991161
oh neat is there a way i can see these smart contracts on chain?

what dapps can i use on the xrp blockchain

>> No.16991226

>>16991199
Codius can run any scripting language and you can host anything you want. you can even make it so that the app pays for its own hosting.

but you can see people hosting.

>> No.16991275

>>16991226
no anon I don't want to see hosting I want to audit some of these smartcontracts and perhaps use some

surely there are some great dapps on ripple's blockchain, please list some of your favorites for me

>> No.16991347

>>16991275
Dapp is something that Ethereum uses and the program must run in the Ethereum Virtual Machine bytecode and is deterministic.

Codius can run any programming language on its Docker container, and is non-deterministic.

wow didn't relaize the xrp community was so hostile

you said in >>16991141 that they have smart oracles and smart contracts since 2014

I want to take a look at them because clearly they'd be the largest smart contract ecosystem out there but you can't even point me to one

what's the point of a blockchain if its not transparent and auditable by anyone

>> No.16991494

>>16991454
I said they created codius in 2014 i didn't say they had smart contracts and smart oracles since 2014.

Codius was put on hold at the time because no one even cared about smart contracts or oracles and there was no use case for it as the market was premature.
