I'm on the verge of buying too. Can't really come up with decent fud against big blocks. I'm fairly certain that gigabit internet connections and petabits worth of storage are not rare or expensive enough to make the need for them a risk for centralization.

same, just bought 100 more at 250, now im at 75k$ invested in bsv, plan to bring it to 100k soon but only if theres another dip.

Theres threads on reddit of people asking how to convert bch and btc to bsv... twitter personaoities joining and more crypto outlets talking about bsv in a slightly more open way.. i think we are just before the wave of normies trying to buy in, im scared we might not see Bitcoin this cheap much longer

I understand, I research as much as I can but it's such a war right now between BTC, BCH, and BSV. I read shit like links below and leaves a jaded impression.
https://beincrypto.com/will-bitcoin-sv-genesis-hard-fork-cause-another-bsv-price-pump/

https://coingeek.com/daniel-connolly-the-exciting-possibilities-for-bitcoin-sv-after-genesis/

https://coingeek.com/bitcoin-svs-real-enemy-is-anti-growth-mentality/

Anyway I just said fuck it. Good points also by the way.

Yeah that's interesting. I used to consider BTC as the bed rock of my crypto portfolio. But things are slowly changing. I still have faith in BTC, but I've been watching BSV for awhile and I think it's wise to dip in.

I bought 20 more today, have some more money moving on coinbase... Hopefully the price can stay down a few more days

yep, daily reminder.

Bch is definitely a falling knife now that they are imolementing this miner tax. Btc is a bit safer but long term bsv fundamentals are much stronger, so im all in bsv now (and i knew about btc since it was <1$), i dont think btc has much hope now with blockstream leadership, crippled blocks and the lightning engineering mess

Thank fuck I stayed from that, I was originally tempted to dip in a few months ago but didn't. BCH will join LTC in the graveyard.

Thanks for the links. I really like the argument from a free market perspective. Why not leave unhindered all parameters that allow the chain, and people who build on the chain, to serve people? It makes no sense that somebody who invests in that process would deliberately make a bid for centralization, that's a losing strategy. Imagine if somebody in the nineties said it was a bad idea to allow too much throughput on the nascent internet.

lol no btc is an ubroken continuation of the original nakamoto consensus started by satoshi himself. it is also secured by hashpower and offers miners appreciable revenue in fees.

also btc is always bitcoin because the consensus bitcoin fork gets the tag btc automatically on all exchanges.

you are a sad clown m8.

What other opinions do you have regarding the centralization of crypto? This is my biggest worry in the sphere.

Nothing you said refutes that BSV is quite literally better at being bitcoin. Low fees. Near instant transactions. Scalability. Much more coming with the Genesis fork. You can call BTC bitcoin all you want. I don't care, m8

I have some more but busy right now. A brief thought is that decentralization and its benefits are not one dimensional attributes solely pertaining to hashrate and the projects that win will be those that maximize decentralization of features that generate demand.

It's a pump and dump scam, and you're dumb money if you buy it. We've known for ages that this is a ponzi scam and its beyond obvious, but now that it's pumped a bit you're buying in?
