The devs aren't dumping, they're hedging with ETC. There's no rollback if ETH 2.0 fails( in a sense of complete and utter devaluation). People don't realise there're still decent ties between both chains. Ethereum Foundation participates at ETC testnets. ETC implemented most of ETH's opcode.Wouldn't be surpised if ETC reaches price parity |~@$70-$80 with ETH before Casper.
