I get 100% compensated for Jury Duty from my job for up to 2 weeks. Never been there more than 3 days. It's nice to get a break from work sometimes.

I've never had a bench warrant because I always handle my court shit but my friends have unanswered summonses from like 10 years ago that have probably just been dismissed. My city's baglog on petty bullshit like open container and weed cases is so big that they started just dismissing all the bench warrants for unanswered summonses. One time I showed up a day late for an open container summons and had it dismissed after sitting around for 3 hours.
