>SanFran, USA, based
>All data encrypted - even Opacity (OPQ) can not access your data
>All payments anonymous - no Visa/bank account etc - your ID can not be tied to your cloud storage
>Due to smaller team and no globohomo costs (gay ads, diversity hire etc) Opacity offers cheaper cloud storage than Google etc.
>This is the kind of services a decentralized blockchain is perfect for. Opacity is market leader
>Strong team https://www.opacity.io/team-page

Based on tech and market segment alone, Opacity would normally had been a 100M+ market cap project. However, when they started as Oyster Pearl (PRL), a rouge co-founder, Bruno Block, exit scammed, leaving the PRL team behind. They didn't give up and founded Opacity. From an investor perspective, post PRL, this was a good thing. All bad actors exposed and a major sales pressure leaving the OPQ price well below fair value and an extremely good investment opportunity.

Nasty hysteria and financial investments are not a great combo.

First of all, Opaq has the files encrypted, they have a fully anonymous payment system where files can not be traced back to user. All that is totally at odds with using aws. If you can't see that, you have problems. What servers they use now, I have no idea. You are just referring to a plebbitor, do you have anything official? Regardless, they will expand and have their own servers, if they don't have it already

yes because the one thing decentralized blockchain projects are known for are their dependence upon a single centralized storage provider. At that point why even have a token? Just accept some other crypto shit coin for your "anonymous encrypted storage" and call it a day. At least PRL tried doing something different by building upon the IOTA tangle, but this is just a low rent MegaUpload.

As if you wouldn't hold OPQ if only to get cheap as fuck storage? Opacity is the cheapest "cloud" storage you can find anyway by a very substantial margin, and it's properly encrypted unlike Jewgle and Dropbox.

>> No.16899038

Anyone is free to host and provide storage too, this is just the team offering the first steps.

By the way, "low rent megaupload" sounds pretty good. Mega links stay good for a day or two tops, and that's if their servers are not being seized by the feds.

1. Your source is a plebbitor. I asked whether or not you have anything official.
2. They already have or very soon will have own servers
3. They encrypt data, in sharp difference to asw
4. Main thing is encryption and that you can upload files anonymously. Nobody knows your id.

Moron. If they use aws servers, it is only temporary as they are expanding and developing. However, clown, let's say I want to upload files with wrong-think to the cloud, if I use OPQ no one knows my identity and the files are encrypted with not OPQ or AWS being able to read the files. Compare that to Google et al, where everything is tracked and reported.

You clearly have no idea how encryption works or the modern methods employed when tracking someone online. It's clear you don't know much of anything at all as you didn't even know they're reliant upon AWS till just now. Something you could have figured out for yourself if you weren't incompetent.

You are an idiot and you have no clue. You can avoid tracking with Opacity, there is no way you can avoid tracking with AWS and third party tracking and monitoring your files. In addition, legally you can't pin anything on Opacity to you, unless you compromise yourself, this in sharp contrast to using service like Google etc.

This is the third time I am stating that it's irrelevant and I have explained why. Since clouds are very much a subject of economics of scale, I will guess they will use aws until they have enough contracts to bundle them together and then buy servers. That's what any experienced businessman would do, i.e. not you.

at this point any "investors" in OPQ/PRL deserve to lose literally all of their money

No doubt. There's a reason Binance confirmed they were about to list them before the hack, and they've continued to make progress since then.

There's a very good chance a Binance listing will happen for them sooner or later. This is pretty much why I never sold mine after the token swap and even bought more when it got to around the current price.

>OPQ is cheap with a lot of upside
