I too am very depressed, its worse than ever these days. Yesterday I saw my dad for the first time in a few months and he called me a faggot and told me to man the fuck up and get on with it. Can t go into specifics but I am suffering severely from my narc father who kept me prisoner till in my early 30s, recently escaped started living on my own when my body was falling apart, even though he taught me I would never be able to survive in the real world, literally spent decades alone in a dark cold noisy room, first decade on a broken matras, constantly negative comments, meanwhile I was trying so hard to be the best me, can't go into the depths of it, anyway now recently I have fiscal issues so I am not sure if I will be able to survive financially and I can't get a job like anybody else due to my background. Ultimately your goal is to find the love in yourself that you truly deserve and that comes from active self-development. Earlier in the thread when I mentioned a detachment from Love, that came from a deep psychosis induced existential depression which lasted 2 years for me, and honestly when I realised that I am the sum of my actions and not my thoughts, and really started working on myself in the present, it gave me so much confidence in my ability as a person (but it was certainly hardwork) that I started to find love in myself again, which naturally flows to forgiving (most importantly) yourself, but also others.
