After months of reading the most inane fud, I’ve started to hate my fellow man. They ruined this board, the best place to discuss the 4th Industrial Revolution, how it would come to pass and the mechanisms involved. I haven’t seen a thread with people posting their nose ideas for a while now and it is disappointing.
But I don’t hate FUDDERs the most, I hate the sheep that flock around their ideas and make version that have been dispelled months ago; at least some of the FUD was high quality food for thought, now it’s:

I’m sick of it and this opening a fatwah on nolinkers, they are worse than Jews and are not human. I declare nolinkers should be treated as cattle and their deaths be meaningless.

you're right, however what is there to do but wait? ethereum is secure but slow, we need to wait for scaling solutions like zkproofs, off chain trusted compute, schnorr sigs, sharding, etc; chainlink is running but more notorious nodes need to on board and staking needs to be implemented (even with only trivial slashing conditions) for the reputation system to mature sufficiently; ethereum is also still a public chain and OTC derivatives (and other securities) MUST be private, mixicles, deco, and more mature TEEs are in the pipeline, there is still so much good that can and is likely to happen for chainlink but they're just not here yet, we wait
