He's right. Traditional squats are trash. If you want to build leg mass and core strength, use Bulgarian Split Squats instead.

Weighted chin ups are godlike and much better than virtually any other exercise. Neutral grip or trandtional underhand pullups are the best bicep exercise known to man. Weighted dips are much more beneficial and safer than bench press. Bench pressing is for idiots.
