Seems like a good thing to invest in because of such a high 'I'd never invest in that gross stuff' boomer mentality but with the dating market so fucked this seems like a natural product as AI gets better.

Are there publicly traded companies or if not how could I possibly invest in some?

I don't think there are any publicly traded companies, they aren't even any that are large enough to get listed on an exchange even if they wanted. Your only choice is to directly contact them to hear if they want a private investment, or you can start your own company doing it.

Once the AI gets good enough and they can walk around, cook and clean, I will gladly spend $20k on a robot wife.

The only legit way to profit is by opening doll houses or rental services in some big city. Investing in the tech itself is a no go as the chinese will rip off any advancement and the very high end is too niche; plus general robotics need to catch up first.

That's not much when it comes to private investment.. Doubt any companies will bother selling you shares privately or anything, which means your best bet is to make your own company. $10k is enough to started, it might even pay for an engineer to design a custom doll mould if you don't want to just be a reseller or brothel operator or whatever. However, of course running your own company takes a lot more effort than just buying stocks, it would basically become part of your life rather than a mere investment.

An online rental service that ships it to you after a downpayment in crypto might work, have to rent by the week and pay for any damage. When you're done just ship it back and get however much of the downpayment you didn't use back.

The only thing I can think of is investing in robotic companies that will eventually lead to sexbots. The company with the most advanced humanoid robot at the moment is probably softbank, which owns boston dynamics and the french company. Everything else I've seen so far is either private or university research.

Until androids get to the point where they can emulate humans pretty closely, I don't think they will be worth much other than gimmicks. AI androids will exist but our technology is far off from it at least 20 years. We can't get out of the uncanny valley yet so we still have some time to go.
