Basically his strategy is simple. Say he believes Apple stock will rise after the 2018 crash. He puts some money in calls & stocks. It's at $145.

Soon he sees it go to $150, he adds to his position, because his theory is showing signs that it is correct.

It rises to $170, he adds more.

It rises to $190, he adds more.

It rises to $210, he adds more.

It keeps rising, he adds more. Trading volume doesn't indicate that the trend will end.

He adds more...

Rinse and repeat, he will look for any sign that the trend will reverse and then close his positions out.

Its fucking crazy way of trading, but he will hedge to protect his downside while capturing the big move. If he's wrong on a trade he might lose 5% max, if hes right, he might double his money.
