ETH2 should spice things up a little, but it's not like the early frontier days. We see new competitors with arguably better tech than before.

A lot of devs are moving to Algorand so I hear, plus the staking opportunities here and with Cosmos, Tezos and even Fleta. Much greater options nowadays

1) It is a centralized piece of shit where the foundation owns a large portion of the tokens
2) It is a centralized piece of shit run by less than 2 dozen validator nodes that are all chink exchanges hogging up rewards and vote colluding
3) It is garbage tech that was brought to its knees by a single shitcoin, so the fact that you brought up cryptokitties is hilarious
4) No development community, no real use case except gambling
5) High % of bot activity due to "zero fees" (which are actually hidden in the inflation) pumps up their user/transaction volume and makes it look more used than it actually is

Garbage coin with no future. ETH2.0 has inherently better ideas for scalability. All these garbage ETH clones are taking shortcuts to get their product out faster and compete in the end their tech is garbage. ETH2.0 is taking a while to roll out but that's because a lot of thought is going into the best way to scale. And once it does it's game over for your shitcoin.
