The people writing it write it for each other. It's like a spoken word night at some shitty hipster bar but even gayer. They're not trying to "move the market" they're just playing creative writing games.

>>16830696
the link ico was spammed on biz and reddit
chainlink official on telegram or discord (the core team spends time there and actually respond to non-retarded questions)
the fud is is written by 3 types of people
>anons who missed out on LINK and are angry about it
>anons who already hold LINK but are convinced themselves FUDing on biz can actually move the market (when LINK had very little liquidity and biz had more traffic and influence, this was actually possible. Those days are long gone with the multiple large exchange listings and huge volume + biz is now a dead pajeet board)
>anons who do it for fun/out of habit

>>16830777
this is accurate

>>16830776
30k is plenty

>>16831362
very nice, very nice indeed.
What are you expectations for this year? I think LINK will go live on multiple chains (hyperledger, corda, polkadot) and hopefully we get service agreements + multiword responses before EOY so we can actually spin up some interesting HIGH value contracts and stake our stacks
I doubt we get threshold signatures or mixicles this year though

Thats a solid goal, I was at 130k last Fall

My next immediate goal is 175k, 200k would be a miracle but I would need the whole year at these prices to get that many.

Link OG here as well.

Looking for advice. Currently at 90k stack, looking to take out a personal loan of 25k through lendingtree at a 7% APR in addition to 20k I have saved in order to get stack to ~110k.

Income is around 150k and yearly expenses are only 20k so I'd be able to pay off the loan quickly but obviously it'd benefit me to buy in at the $2 range currently rather than risking it being at $3.50-4+ in 6 months time when I actually would have the liquidity w/o the loan.

Thoughts?

Why would they still be in this shit hole? Anyone with a portfolio that size either got into crypto early or has a high paying career. Neither of those types of people have any reason to hang out on 2020 biz this board is strictly for broke late adopter zoomers and street shitting scammers. I have 60k stinkers and I’m embarrassed to still be occasionally posting here.

>> No.16831852

Depends on your risk tolerance. I did a similar thing last year and took out a $11.5k loan and boat between 2.30-1.80. Didn't matter much in the end since we're still in that price range.

If I were you, I would hold off for now and just track the progress of service agreements (which contains staking) on pivotal.

I HIGHLY doubt the huge integrations will go live before developers can insure their contracts with collateral. Anything to do with traditional payments (Swift/Corda/Hyperledger) leans on a functional staking model before people have the confidence to ship those kinds of contracts.

Risk tolerance is high.

Although I see your point from an FA perspective regarding staking(which is a long ways away contrary to delusional nulinkers), you don't believe speculation could carry us back to ATH within the next few months?

Either way it's something I'm strongly considering and don't see immense downside locking in a fatter stack now as opposed to potentially having to buy in at 1.5-2x current price.

Figure we'll drop to .618 fib and I'll pull trigger then
