Is owning LinkPool shares redpilled or bluepilled?

What's the ideal split of Link/LP in one's portfolio? 90/10? 80/20? 75/25?

>> No.16826847

There's going to be so many staking options they'll be fighting for out linkies.. why pay to stake? LP shares are a scam.

It's kind of like a double bet with no big upside.

If you buy LP and Link moons, you'll profit. But will you really profit that much more than if you'd just used your money to buy link instead?

If link tanks, LP will get fucking demolished. And not a single person will be buying your LP shares.

so why even make that bet?

>> No.16827051

>>16826826
Depends on how much Chainlink you own. If you already have a nice fat stack, diversifying into LP might not be a bad idea. Wouldn't do it with like 200 link or something though. :D

bluepilled

these fucks tricked guillible linkies into giving up 25% of their node rewards for basically having their own pc running

it only makes sense if you're literally too dumb to copy paste a few lines of code to spin up your own node

the linkpool dex is just a few whales wash trading with each other to drive the price insanely high hoping some other dumb fuck buys a bag for 40x what they paid for it.... can't blame em because people actually do it

ROI in LP has been TERRIBLE... i doubt 1 share even gets you 1 link after 3 years--- just buy link

What many people don't seem to understand is the fact that Linkpool profits from a variety of products related to the Chainlink ecosystem. Regardless of the link price action, you can earn link on a regular basis. They have developed market.link (which is and will be a fundamental part of the ecosystem), are developing (according to one of their articles) a reputation system and also have a node that generates over 900 links per week (and growing). They will offer a NaaS service from which LP holders will also benefit.

Holding Linkpool is a way to reduce your risk exposure by receiving profits from network usage instead of just benefiting from the LINK price action

You mean all of the zero (0) products that are currently running on chainlink?

>> No.16827994

Wow this is some low IQ shit right here.
1) no you won't be able to run a node with the profitability of LinkPool because you don't have any data to sell through your node. They'll have data you will never get your hands on and a reputation and uptime that you could never attain on "your pc".

2) There's literally no competition for what LinkPool is doing. They're the chosen ones, they are interlinked with the core Chainlink team like Johnnys tongue is with horse rectums. It's like buying stock in a company after getting inside information that they will manage the data security of your government or something.

3) It's not only about pooling your LINK and letting them stake it, as an LP holder you're paid out dividends on every profit they make through their NaaS, Market, adapters, etc...

Yeah Chainlink is a safe bet but compare the market caps of both. It's a good idea to just gamble on like 0.1 LP because if LINK succeeds, LP will also succeed, they're interlinked to the core.

>You mean all of the zero (0) products that are currently running on chainlink?
Market.link for example?
Every node listed there has paid a one-time fee of 15 link that goes to linkpool holders (at least 100 link per month).

Linkpool node is the 3rd node in job requests count of all the official nodes (900 link per week).

And all this considering that staking is not yet live. When staking goes live, Linkpool will be the best positioned Chainlink node out there:

A lot of premiums will be offered through market.link that will be paid in link and Linkpool holders will also benefit from that.

NaaS will also be offered after staking is released. It will be paid in link in a monthly basis.

The staking pool of pools that allows your node to become a trustless staking pool. The operators will have to pay Linkpool a percentage of their gains. Linkpool holders will get a piece of that... Linkpool is their own competitor.

Their own staking pool... Holy shit anon, you are so ignorant and yet you are so full of yourself

>> No.16828192

all that plus only 1000 total shares in circulation.
Imagine if amazon only released 1000 shares when they went public AND announced a dividend of their total profits.
LP will be the de-facto one stop shop for oracle needs.
