You have a tax free windfall. And your best idea is to piss it away on a massive con called crypto?
Spend $5k on something for yourself, like a dream computer, or the down payment on a car. Put the rest into a retirement account and forget about it for 30 years.
Going to Vegas and putting it all on red at the roulette tables is a smarter and safer bet than crypto - and at least you'll get free drinks while you watch your chips go bye bye.

I've been wage slaving for the past 13 years, and finally it's over. Since 2016 I've made the financial decisions w/ cryptocurrency to accumalate in the upward 6 figures. I've been pretty comfortable lately - and that's why I'm giving this information to you bros.

TRUEChain - The next lambo moon mission. Right now you can accumalate pretty hard, or arbtirage.
They're going for ~0.00001 on FORKDELTA, and they're going RIGHT now for ~0.0017 on OKeX. Do Ieed to do this math for you? Huge arbitrage chance here boys.

This is the exchange

https://beta.forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xa8bdc8882987a3ed83d8030f08d64479f1eff731-ETH

If you're wanting to jump on the arbtirage train on forkdelta then once you're on there you will despoit your ethereum onto the websites exchange, and then it'll allow you to either put buy orders, or buy the sell orders.
Not working? Use more gas. Order taking too long? Use more gas. Laggy orders, not showing up? (((SAVE))) your seed word phrase w/ metamask, and reinstall.

If you're oblivious to decen idex exchanges then maybe stick w/ the actual reguluated exchanges. It's cheaper on forkdelta by a decent amount allowing easy cross exchange shorts and will allow anyone with a high IQ to make a lot of money. Better thank me for this /biz/ because I didn't have to share this information enjoy the rest of your 2020. God speed.

One day at my wagecuck office job I was bored and dreaming of finding a way out, so spent all day researching this very thing. I ran across this plebbit post from a guy who found a half lb of nuggets with a metal detector.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Prospecting/comments/4782tj/half_pound_of_gold_my_best_nuggets_from_winter/
Naturally, everyone in the comments wanted to know where, but he would only say "desert southwest." I prospected this user's post history to find several hints, and a few mentions of a user on gold prospecting forum called "Bedrock Bob." Eventually, I tracked down Bedrock Bob - interesting character - and he too was reluctant too divulge locations, but I found one reply from Bob to someone asking him where he prospects:
>... I had a dream one night. I dreamed we were all angels. Bearded angels floating over the desert on gossamer wings. We were searching and seeing with eyes that allowed us to see through the ground. PI eyes that made the smallest specs s
parkle and glitter in the dirt. In my dream I could see the hills and a familiar skyline. It was home. Sierra Diablo. Sierra Animas. Sierra Caballo. Sierra County. No mysteries there. The old timers found it there and that is still where it is at. The dream only tells us what we already know. All that is left is the sweat. The angels just won't do the work for us. Neither will the Boy Scouts, darn those little duffers.
The location was Sierra County, NM, specifically near the old mining town of Hillsboro. The bad news is that it's extremely difficult work, and unless you really have a knack for it you'll make more working at the Hillsboro gas station than you will digging for shiny rocks in the ground.

You have options.
1) Tough it out and store more money while saving as much as possible so you can travel.you currently have 50k in the bank, aim for 150-200k and by this time you'll have experience and money so you can quit, travel, relax and find out what you really want to do. Don't burn through your money.
2) Take that 50k, buy a house and flip it for profit. An alternative to this would be to take out a mortgage on a house and rent out rooms for 1.5 - 2k a month.
3) You have 50k and that's a lot of money. Learn to day trade, there's a guy called zed monopoly on YouTube that seems decent.
4) Learn ecommerce and business.
5) Find a hobby or find ways to work less hours, see if you can find a way to work from home.

I would cash out all $90k and keep your job for the time being. Take the $90k and invest it into Commercial or Industrial Real Esatate. Assuming you have good credit, you could obtain an LTV of 20%, with $90k that gives you $450k in purchasing power. Buy a smaller (6k-10k SF) industrial building. Make sure you can add value to this building in some way shape or form, the easiest methods are through renovation or lease up. Lease the unit as is, or chop the building into two-three smaller tenants (called Flex spaces). When formulating your lease, use a triple net (NNN) structure, this passes every expense through to your tenant(s). Taxes, insurance, common area maintenance, utilities, etc are all paid for by your renters. At $450k and an 8% cap rate, you would have an NOI of around $36k. Pay down your debt service for a few months and then start rolling the money into new deals of similar structure. Form an LLC for each building and always sign non recourse loans. You should also look into 1031 exchanges and how powerful they can be. Before you know it, in 3-5 years you’ll have a solid portfolio built up and have reliable passive income which will allow you to quit your job. Take advantage of historically low rates while you can anon.

Public service announcement for stupid anons:

Whenever you get a link to an exchange, where one of the coins (in this case supposedly TRUE) is a long string instead of the three or four letter abbreviation for it, it means someone is probably tricking you.

Legit link structure would be: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/TRUE-ETH

vs

Scammy link structure: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xa8bdc8882987a3ed83d8030f08d64479f1eff731-ETH

If you have any doubts about the coin (as you should in this case), 0xa8bdc8882987a3ed83d8030f08d64479f1eff731 is the contract address for the coin they're trying to trick you into buying. Check the contract address in anyplace where you can check the ethereum network, such as etherscan.io.

For example: https://etherscan.io/token/0xa8bdc8882987a3ed83d8030f08d64479f1eff731#balances

-You'll see the contract was created on the 18th November 2019.
-Only 85 wallets own the coin.
-There's 10mm coins circulating, while you can easily find that the legit TrueChain has over 44mm coins in circulation, check it on coinmarketcap.
-Another clue should be the weird transaction history of the coin linked by OP.

BONUS:

Nobody is going to hand you free money, in this case an arbitrage opportunity. People on /biz/ are not your friends, it is not a little club. Don’t trust anybody here and certaintly don’t take their advice without doing your own analysis.

>> No.16797224

how this scam works:

step 1: scammer creates a contract with 10mm generic erc20 tokens
step 2: scammer renames these new tokens so they have the same name as an existing token
step 3: scammer goes on forkdelta or other decentralized exchange and sells/buys his own coins at a low (or high) price relative to the real coin.
step 4: scammer posts here about the supposed arbitrage opportunity
step 5: some anon will buy an eth or two worth of the scam coin
step 6: scammer has now made a couple eth
step 7: scammed anon lost a couple eth, and has a lot of worthless coins, which can't be sold anywhere. scammed anon could try to sell them in the decentralized exchange where he bought them, but the only one that could buy them back would be the scammer.

I see what you're saying, keep that down payment as investment capital instead.
But while that capital is invested, you still need to pay for a roof over your head, at least with owning that money is arguably still yours as its paying down your asset. Whereas renting, every month that money is a total loss.
Do you believe the stock market will crash & rebound severe enough and soon enough to recoup those rent losses? will crypto gain the footing to do that?

>> No.16800982

put 50% in top 10 crypto evenly (replace tether and BSV with stellar and cardano) and invest the rest on well researched altcoins all in the top 200 (some below are worth the risk sometimes, buy you dont have the experience to find them).

if this isnt conservative, separate BTC and or Etherium from the rest and make it a bigger % of your portfolio.

30k is not going to change your life in the West. 30k in crypto in 2-3 years can however change your life.

>Seems like BTC and the top 5 alts are legit, and the rest like LINK are just pump & dump BS.
I wouldn't even consider the top five alts to be legit.

Ethereum is actively trying to make itself useful. That's the only one. And I really don't see the point behind "distributed computing on the blockchain" anyway, and with the central control by a figurehead who just wants to tinker around with it and make changes because OOOOH SHINY LOOK A SQUIRREL!!!! or because someone hacked a project and he wants to undo all the transactions via a hardfork, I would never trust it enough to put money into Ethereum.

Tether is useful for international trade and for parking cash in between crypto runs, but it's not going to make you rich.

BCash is a scam that is going to die eventually. It was just an attempt by Chinese miners, led by Bitmain, to seize control of Bitcoin. They failed, and they're not willing to lose face by letting it die gracefully.

Litecoin is dead. Charlie Lee said so himself.

Ripple, who knows what the fuck that's about. It started as a bunch of banks trying to head off Bitcoin from destroying their industry.

If you don't count Tether (because stablecoin), then the last one would be EOS, which I've never even heard mentioned in the real world.

Bonus coin: BSV and its offshoots, which are giant frauds being pushed by a con artist. Or maybe CSW is just legit mentally ill, but I don't think so. Where's the tulip courier, Craig?

>>16789130
Depends on whether you really, REALLY need a car. If you blow the money on a downpayment on a Lambo, sure, you're an idiot. If you buy a used Toyota so you can get to work, then you're just a normie.

It's true that by buying you get to gradually build equity with your payments. However, renting is by no means a total loss, because you have to consider the many extra demands on your time and wallet that go into home ownership. Improvements, repairs, insurance, property taxes, lawn maintenance, etc. -- these are all factored into the price of rent, but not a mortgage payment. Not to mention interest. What is your time worth? It may be advantageous forgetting that stuff, renting, and simply working more hours for cash to invest elsewhere.

Moreover that down payment is immediately tied up in an asset class, already in a bubble, that can't possibly compete with crypto. If you ask me we will see Bitcoin nearing 80k-120k by the end of 2021. Even if I'm wrong -- even if it has a weak-ass bull run compared to the preceding two halving cycles -- 40k-50k is not far-fetched at all. Hell, even if we recoup only the previous all-time high of 20k, we're talking a nearly +200% gain (from current prices) over two years. Bitcoin is already being viewed as "digital gold" by institutions. Gold alone -- to say nothing of other precious metals -- has a 7 trillion dollar marketcap. Bitcoin has unbelievable potential for growth.

I'm much less certain about the stock market. It's being propped up by the Fed and no one really knows how long this could continue, or how far it will fall when the bubble finally pops. I do know that I don't want my money tied up in an illiquid asset when it happens.

Personally, I rent, and every spare dollar I have is in Bitcoin and gold. If God is real, Bitcoin will have a bull run and equities will pop shortly after. It's absolute insanity not to be in Bitcoin right now.
