The hidden block size limit Satoshi added without mentioning it was to shield spamming on chain. It was supposed to be a temporary add-on and lifted once Bitcoin's network grew to what it is now. The adjustable block size never happened and so Bitcoin Cash was forked and from BCash, BSV forked. BTC is the real Bitcoin, but it's been hijacked and Lightning Network is not the layer 2 solution that should be the only fix for scalability.
