I've started researching blockchain games. What do you all think? There's a lot of potential and people have placed value in stranger things.
Think about pros and cons, how will this branch look in a few years, or even 10 years?

that's bullshit
>real ownership and control of items
>markets develop independent of the game devs
>implement free-market back/front end systems from the chain that are developed by others, like global profiles

Yes, that's the thing I hear most. Up until now we always must trust the server that contains our items/characters etc. If that server is gone, so are all of our things. With blockchain we actually own our stuff.

Nobody cares about your minecraft diamonds.

"The game is shut down, nobody plays it, and the code was never updated and won't run on any computers now - but my fake assets are on a blockchain! So I have that going for me!"
