would it be possible for a bot to scour the internet, and analysing the sentiment.

Is sentiment analysis really that effective?

No. I say this simply because people, in general, don't know what they truly want or like (customers are wrong a lot and new markets are created that these same individuals would have rejected in theory before practice). Herd mentality is also real. The internet amplifies this 100x.

Only if you discovered sentiments that you weren't aware of, otherwise i really have to wonder if it's any better than just being on social media. The advantage is that if you used bots it could escape the filter bubble.
Also, I could tell 'she' was a trap, but that last line STILL threw me.
