My mom runs a business, she makes less than minimum wage each year selling crystals on etsy to new age retards. She believes in some new age retard stuff herself but not crystal healing / energies / whatever other bullshit people buy into. She was making more money years ago but I've noticed the industry has shrunk in recent years, at least the mineral industry. I personally like collecting / displaying minerals, but I know what bullshit all the new age garbage surrounding them is.

People are dumb as hell and easy to scam though if you have the will to do it. People are willing to believe literally anything, easy to manipulate, and there's tons of disinformation on the internet to help you out. People want to believe in shit like crystal healing, so they're more than willing to spend thousands of dollars on mineral specimens to that end.
