Or buy 100 m2 apartment in city centre for 700 k?

Pic related is house

>> No.16731345

That's not a house chink; it's an apartment. A house is where you own the land plus the building on top of that land and don't pay body corporate tax.

>> No.16731369

How about you calculate your job commute time instead of some meme "city centre".

>> No.16731393

Why dont you just work remotely instead of having to commute to some centralized cuck office/factory/shop/vendor
Workplace locations should be decentralized or people should be able to work from home especially if you are able to work unsupervised.

>> No.16731402

>>16731345
It says you buy the land as well

I do work from home, hence the reason I am asking.

All the hot girls and some renting friends of mine living in the centre though :/

How will I meet the hot girls so far away

>> No.16731443

>>16731402
It looks like a townhouse to me but whatever. I'd pick the one with the most land because it will allow you to grow things. Looking at it though it doesn't seem to offer much in the way of land.
You can meet girls anywhere. Best to stay away from the city girls though unless you like psychos

Yeah, I live in the Netherlands, it is a pretty small country sadly :(

This can already be considered to be quite big lol

It is close to the university like 10 min as well with the bus, has 5 bedrooms so thinking of renting them all as well and live in the living room

You are right, thank you anon

Five bedrooms for less than 200m2 jesus. I just got mine and its 177m2 plus the garage so like 210m2 and I could turn it into a five bedder but I've turned one room into a theatre room and the other is my office/study. If that's big for your country I'd get it and rent out the spare bedrooms to people you think won't fuck you over or destroy the place.

Are there any monthly maintenance fees and owner fees? In USA, maintenance fees and hoa fees are terrible.

>> No.16732294

>>16731532

No it’s slightly outside the centre of Rotterdam.

>>16731517
Yeah, It is near a well known university would you recommend renting to beginning students?

>>16731543
Thanks hehe

>>16731576

No owners fees / maintenance fees
Just insurance, electricity, gas , water and some other miscallanous

Can any one of you fucking retards explain a single solid reason to buy a house other than "durr it gows up". You are not saving money, you are giving away your freedom and capital to others in exchange for a liability.

>> No.16732334

>>16732310
Well it costs 500 k.
5 bed rooms
Can rent each one for prolly 500-600 which will net me 2500-3000 a month plus house prices usually go up 7-8 % a year

>> No.16732347

>>16732310
The only reason to purchase a house is to have a place to call your own. Nothing more nothing less. Don't let deluded boomers or their deluded children make you think home ownership an "investment". It's a fucking headache.

>> No.16732354

Don't buy property now. Throw that all into the Kleros sale on January 11th and sell the inevitable 10x in 2020, then buy a house if you wish.

Yes students are dumb af. Provided you offer them a half-decent deal and get them to sign a contract you should be sweet. don't get involved with them though otherwise it could get complicated. Don't shit where you eat etc.

Anon, would you be willing to rent out a room to a fellow /biz/bro if you bought it?

Moving to Rotterdam in August and I need a place to stay

am a student of the "well known university" most probably

I read it and didn’t even realize. Anyways I’ve been on the fence about buying a house.
I have the money for a down payment but it just feels dirty. I don’t want to sell my linkies to pay interest for 30 years.
I understand that yes ideally owning a home is better than throwing away money renting. But the trade off doesn’t seem worth it right now.
