I was once very close to killing myself and one thought held me back. Im going to die eventually and my life is not absolute suffering, like im not getting tortured every day by terrorist poking my eyes out and burning my skin or something. Therefore - there is 0 sense in killing myself since im going to die anyways especially considering that we only live once (probably) I might aswell endure whatever nuisances there will be.
Also a thought that made me not afraid of death is I probably have been dead for eternity. Like I didnt exist for an infinite amount of time before and im going to not-exist for the same amount of time after, being alive is not my natural state of being.
