Been living at home for over 3 years now (24) and it’s killing me. I have around $30k with no debt but I’m a doomer and recovering coomer with no real job, only side hustles. I’m scared to use the money b/c I’ll need it for business and I’m not even sure if I want to commit to living around here for another year. I’ve basically spent 2 years paralyzed by this. Is it worth moving?

Why would you need to commit? If you're living at home it isn't as if you have a lease or something

I’m talking about living in the general area that I’m at, not living at home.

>> No.16706044

So your question is: is it worth having your own place and not living at home, but still remain in the same area?

you've got too much of a safety net. you need to move out and light a fire under your asss

Same position here more or less. Fuck it just move and trust your instincts. Set aside 6 months rent then go sink or swim as >>16706046 said.

I definitely understand this and know it’s the right advice, but I’m worried about being stuck in my home state since I’m going on 25. I’m kinda fucked because my dad is alone and in bad health, and my grandparents are even worse and also need help.

you need to see opportunities where you are seeing problems. keep on living at home. steal your parents prescription drugs and sell them for extra money. it just gets easier and easier as they get older. that's making the fucked up health care system work for you, bro.

Lived at home for 3 years (20-23), moved away 4 months ago to my gf's place. It's so much better, my mental state improved significantly. I still have to study another 1,5 years but so does my gf. Life's good now.

It's not that easy. Visa rules in Thailand are a pain in the ass. And fucking the women there gets boring after 3 weeks.

Go to South East Asia and travel around for a few months. Bonus points, find a meditation retreat there.
