business partner (investor) insisting on being able to cover monthly overhead for first month

its very small but i tell him we need to grow first (saas company) before we will be able to cover that.

what is a way to generate atleast 100-150 users from PPC ads, promos anything.

>i have ran an identical company like this successfully for 100k in gross profits

think i am just going to tell him that its not that simple

worried about going 2-3 months without overhead or little to no profit after. this was the case for quite a while with last company. any thoughts?

He's obviously worried that your business will bleed you both dry. As someone who's tried and failed before, any negative cash flow is an enormous red flag.

I'd talk to him about strict timelines and declaring immediate failure right away if anything happens after month one.

So if there is no profit month 1 I dissolve? You're nuts. I made 51k gross profit off my last company that took 2-3 months no profit to get going. Also the overhead is actually minuscule and would not do any financial harm to either of our nets.

I'm not saying I'd require that, I'm saying that's what you're partner wants to hear.

Either that or say you'll cover the cost for the first two months

Why do you need an investor if you made $51k gross from your last venture? Go to the bank you lying sack of shit.
