I work at Yandex and my former colleague is working at Waves now, I visited their office a few times. This is one of the most legit projects out there. Their devs are top-tier, two of them won WC in programming a few years back. The rumour is true, you'll see the press release pretty soon.

I confirmed it through an acquaintance and it seems legit though I am not so sure about the timeline. I always had Waves on my radar since they made an original implementation of Bitcoin-NG. It was a solid architecture by Emin but never got followed because of Bitcoin core cuckery. Well glad to see things are going well for Waves, I got in. Thanks for sharing anon.

His words were 'after the holidays'. In Russia holiday week ends on 8th January, so I guess they'll announce it right after. You're right though the exact date is not 100% concrete but it's Junuary most definitely
