A trend ends and a new one begins. Each bubble of Bitcoin has gotten longer from bottom to top. If it took 4 years from 2013 to 2014, it should approx. take 6-8 years for the next top so 2023-2025 and then 8-12 years for the next bubble when bitcoin reaches a million per coin in 2033-2037.

By 2040, Bitcoin will be used by just about everyone, the scaling solutions will 100% be refined, and USD will no longer be the world currency of choice.

Once the 2019 rally was verified to be a bulltrap/dead cat bounce, 6 years of bearcrabslug market is in store. Everyone is way too hopeful. There has not been a true capitulation yet. 2023-2025 will be the next golden bull if bitcoin can even survive until then after revisiting triple digits again.

Most will lose hope. Even the whales that manipulate the market will be caught off guard and go broke. The crypto industry is in dire need of a shakeout, and that is what is in store. You should expect the next 4 years to be an era of redistribution as the whales go belly up and dump hundreds of thousands of bitcoin on us. You'd be wise to accumulate and stay very patient.

>> No.16678269

Along with this long, unexpected bear market for crypto, traditional asset classes will boom. There will be no recession as so many hope until further down the road. That will likely be when bitcoin finally, truly goes to the moon.

We know what to do now.

Accumulate little by little, but pick up the pace more in 2021-2023.

One post that said Bitcoin will go so low, that everyone will say it's over and by over, they mean completely obliterated, but it will survive.

The reason I think that it was a bulltrap was there's no refined scaling yet. A big drop to below 1k would be excellent. Hasn't been blood on the streets just yet.

Yep. As happy as I was to see that massive green dildo on Apr. 1, 2019, something just didn't feel right about it, particularly having experienced the 2013-2017 cycle from start to finish. I remember standing in my kitchen this past May, having a discussion with my girlfriend about it likely being a massive bear market rally and deciding I was going to sell between 13 and 14k. Too many delusional bulls were out in full force. Too much "we'll never see $5k, 8k, 10k again" bullshit.

Even after the big summer fall to where we are at now, I still see the majority of people clinging to the idea that the bull is just around the corner, surely the halving will make everything fine. B.b.b..bbut bitcoin has done this before, twice even, so surely it will do the same now! Ha

I'm an oldfag compared to most here. I've been neck deep in markets and their psychologies for 12 or 13 years now. If I've learned anything during this time, at least on the macro scale, both individual and group delusions run so deep that whatever you think is the reasonable end-point, bottom, or climax, add another couple doubles and extend the timeframe by 2-3x. Yeah it isn't a perfect system, but it's a rough tool to avoid getting fucked entering positions way too early.

Essentially, if you hear "W-shaped double dip recession, new normal, buy gold, buy guns, buy bonds, get out of equities" then you buy, buy, buy nothing but stocks using every fucking line of credit you've got. If you hear "muh recession is coming, this is the longest expansion ever, the Fed is running out of options, buy gold, buy guns, but DRUMPF!!!" then keep on buying, sit back, and relax because the DJIA is going to 50k and any equity bear has been put off for another half decade or more. Crypto, same fucking deal. Sell into strength, buy into weakness...but you gotta let your winners run, and avoid those falling knives.

Fugg it.

there is no top you fucking moron. think about it. global deflationary scarce asset in the digital age. if someone came to you and pitched this idea 10 years ago you would have laughed but in the back of your mind you would have realized IF it were possible, it would be the most valuable asset on the planet. guess what? it exists. think. about. it. guess what else? nothing about it has changed other than it has become more scarce. this isn't TY beenie babies (which were mass produced thus losing there value, BTC can't be mass produced - like fiat) this isn't some fad. This is new money, better money, and there isn't alot of it to go around. t

Great insight and experiences mate. I remember buying back in 2013 and buying electronics with it, but it never dawned on me how it was related to the performance of other markets until watching the price go to 1k and then back down and then up again. Ethereum emerged and so did more investors and buyers. This time around with more people involved, the bubble is going to take a lot longer to rise again. Halving doesn't necessarily mean the same this time around.

100% right. I might print that and frame it lol
We're hearing the latter about a recession and the problems with the Fed handling their QE and interest rate adjustments.

Btc is not correlated to traditional markets. At all. The implication of this fact seems lost on some of you guys. Stonk indices could literally go vertical and btc could STILL tap a milli. That's non-correlation. What one asset class does do not affect the other, non-correlated asset class. Bitc bottomed at 3200. There was PLENTY of blood in Crypto Street, believe me, I was there, buying it with my own two hands.

USA has accelerated the weaponization of SWIFT and other international financial institutions. LIBOR, GFC, rogue state tactics in ME, confiscation of sovereign gold reserves by london and other such abuses of international norms. as it stands the world has been happy to absorb our inflation and buy our treasuries b/c we were stable. the world, eg china, russia, south america are growing very fucking weary of this rogue state bullshit. our nation is entirely run on fantastical lies and we just expect everyone to keep going along with it. soon as china gets its act together and will act as a good steward of private property its over for us.
