In most advanced countries you need to have a degree minimum and pass a series of extremely difficult licensing exams to become a financial advisor. Which is to say it is completely illegal for anyone to say "buy x stock and it will go up in value and make you rich" unless they are registered to be able to do so, and registration only comes with demonstrating they they have the knowledge and experience to give financial advice. It is this way because experience has shown that allowing anyone to give financial advice leads to huckers and get-rich-quick scammers that cause people to lose their money in "investment" vehicles they don't understand.

Crypto just hasn't been regulated yet, and frankly it probably falls under most definitions of securities so Youtube is likely trying to avoid a massive lawsuit by John and Jane Doe who lost their lifesavings when they put it in some shitcoin that some just-out-of-high-school Youtuber recommended on his channel.

And honestly crypto should be regulated that way. This guy and Nugget's News aren't financial advisors. They are uneducated laypeople who don't know what they are talking about, and they are advising people to take real risks with their own money on complex financial products.
