That movie released on DVD in August 2018.
This is quite possibly the last Blockbuster. I'm quite surprised they have so many damn copies of some of these in 2018. What to they do with all the extra copies, sell used?

Late fees (were Fucking criminal until they realized their business was dying) out of new releases, only a couple copies (if that) of the best games.

Yes inconvenience makes us all nostalgia for simpler times. It’s death was inevitable

Yes it is dumbass. You would go there with your friends on a friday night and rent a couple movies to go back and watch at the sleepover. Of course a zoomer doesnt know this because you just DL a movie and watch it solo with a bag of doritos.

I meant why buy or rent the disc at all. Are those movies really that good?
From what I remember it was just the newest garbage Hollywood cash grabs on a shelf so saying Blockbuster is "anti-consumerism" is just ridiculous.

it is though, it's more about the time you spent with the people around you... since americans don't go to church anymore.
i have many fond memories of walking to blockbuster with my mom in the mid 90s because she took the time to spend that weekend with me.
other people remember their teen years - goofing off with friends and ribbing on the titles there. i don't but i had the same sort of experiences at the mall and on out of town trips.
when people are nostalgic about blockbuster, nobody actually cares about the blockbuster itself.

That was my post and it wasn't uninformed. Do you really think I never went to a Blockbuster? Blockbuster didn't sell "every movie" they sold Hollywood garbage, the type of movies that shouldn't even exist let alone be rented, bought, or sold. Fuck Blockbuster
