It's a trick. What they'll do is sweet talk you while the police are on their way; you'll be thrown in a nut house and forcefully injected with whatever anti-psychotics the non-white doctor thinks you should be injected with.

All phone calls are recorded and you will be on a recording admitting that you were planning on self-harm (which is admissible in court). Your family will shun you and if you are employed at the time, you won't be employed when they let you go.

You will be piss-tested when you arrive at the nut house. If anything is found in your system (prescription or not), you will be ordered by a judge to receive random piss-tests for at least one year. Any infraction will result in fines and probation (that's if you have no prior arrests or suicide attempts).

Same reason you should never tell anyone who is involved with the state for official business (doctors, police, paramedics) if you have these sorts of thoughts unless you sincerely have no where else to turn. HIPAA will do fuck all for you when the state feeds it all into Minority Report style bayesian predictive algorithms to "protect" you.
