Litecoin is the opportunity one.

ETH price is based on utility. LTC on scarcity fixed supply. Its your choice

I had the same opinion months ago, but with ETH staking (once complete, there will be no more eth to mine period), and the fact ETH only went through one cycle, and LTC has been through all the same cycles as BTC (which is a bunch), it is going to produce limiting returns. Honestly I think LTC can reach 1k maybe even a bit higher, but ETH.....I see it going to 5 digits based on BTC cycles. Look at the ETH chart and compare to BTC first cycle..they're very similar. And everyone knows that second cycle is what took us to 20k, the most profitable cycle in history. If you really love ltc, go half and half ltc/eth, and at least give yourself the opportunity for life changing money

Ethereum is nothing like Bitcoin, even if they magically solve scaling problems (99% not gonna happen), they are still just a utility token. Something you buy when you need it, like oil. If you are smart, you don't store your wealth in oil, you store it in something with immutable monetary properties, like gold or Bitcoin.

Is Ethereum immutable?

>rollbacks
>hardforks
>fucking around with issuance whenever Vitalik and pals feel like it
>no supply cap
>need NSA datacenter to run a full node and validate the rules

Look, it will probably still pump in the next bull, because there is a cult around it. Just stop deluding yourself that it has a significant future.

>> No.16566793

the problem eth has is it doesn't have the true believers like btc and even ltc do. people think there will be immense sell pressure the next time we see $20k btc, but I think that's wrong. because the people who have held this long think it's going to a million. eth on the other hand will see enormous sell pressure at $1k. we will probably see new ath's for eth, but I don't see it having the same kind of returns as btc this next cycle.

>> No.16566990

>>16566592
BTC isn't immutable either, there were 180 billion bitcoins created at one point and they just forked to get rid of them. Immutability is a meme, every crypto with constantly updating code will get fucked sooner or later and will need to break immutability or die.

there is a consensus about what bitcoin is if the rules are broken they will be enforced by people not the code. however so long you adhere to the rules of the bitcoin blockchain it's immutable.

it was a bug during early development fixed fast as fuck since it had to do with nodes, basically those bitcoins were never created in the first place and the network never forked , since nodes had different ideas of what was real the only chain that continued was the non bugged one.

it was actually a soft fork and naturally overtook and reorged the un-upgraded nodes. interesting.
