An oracle network needs to be a neutral layer. Imagine Tezos, Hyperledger and all the other public and private blockchains relying on Ethereum for secure data for their smartcontracts. They would never use the network.

Chainlink is blockchain agnostic for a reason. they are there to support all chains not just favor one.

Do you even realize what an oracle is? You take a piece of data from outside of the blockchain, pass it to a smart contract through a web3 script, store it on the smart contract permanently and all other contracts can now read this data. That's literally all it takes.

I can set up my own "oracle" in less than 5 minutes
