What do you do when your employees hate you and hate working for you?

Fire them. Get new, young, desperate girls.

If your employees occassionally dislike you, that's pretty normal.

If your employees hate you, then you fucked up.

Here's some tips:
> They are not your friends and never will be
> Keep any dialogue about work, nothing else
> Focus on performance. Your job is to give them what they need to perform well
> Any disciplinary action should be done in private
> Start with big goals and high standards. Then ease up.
> Don't be seen chilling. make it seem like you work harder than them.

I've managed before so AMA if you want. Biggest thing I can say is never ever make anything personal. It's always about the work. If they are not meeting a demand, ask them what the issue is and how you can help them meet that demand.

I was recently fired after getting in an argument with my boss. Had been at the company for 2 months, never before in my life had I witnessed such cliche wage slave culture, people running out the door at closing time, taking 30 minute lunches instead of the allowed hour, cutting corners left and right, lots of contradictions in employees actions. total disconnect between the owner and his employees. OP talk to your employees before one of them goes postal
