what link promised: decentralized oracles
what link delivered: centralized oracle service that requires kyc and an exam to get into.
It's a complete joke.

That's not related to the value of the token, which was worthless regardless of what they do. All payment tokens can only have value that's extracted from the transacting parties, which in practice means holders are dumping link at the cost of node owners.

Now enigma:
promised: a decentralized network utilizing multi party computation for secret contracts
pivoted to: a decentralized network that relies on sgx for secrecy
killed by: intel bugs. No one trusts sgx anymore.
what they should have done in response: go back to the original plan of mpc
what they actually do: partner with a scam to pump their bags. I can guarantee they are going to be dumping their enigma tokens soon, if not already.

Enigma was supposed to perform *arbitrary computations*. Apparently it can't even verify data from a ssl connection.

Token: made sense in the initial design - a big network of nodes with the amount of enigma you have determining your chance at being chosen to compute something.
Now, it's completely worthless.

Btw Tor is deleting all critical opinions on telegram. That's the ultimate proof it's an exit pump.
Fortunately I went in early enough that selling now is (almost) a wash

This is just enigma people not understanding that link is not a competing oracle service but a complementary one that makes it easier for enigma to get users.

To be fair, the link marines there and even in this thread don't understand it even now, and still think enigma is bending the knee to a competitor rather than integrating a complementary service that never sought to compete with them in the first place.

What Linkies are doing is not so much a reaction to Enigma itself, but rather the retarded Enigma fanboys who kept saying Enigma was a "Chainlink killer".
Exact same thing happened with Quant.
In other words: literally pic related.

Enigma and Quant themselves are based.

We understand it fine. It even makes good sense for Chainlink to buddy up with everybody even if its project is superior, because thats how you keep everyone on your side until they realize they got LINKED.com

If you knew the history between the projects yo uwould know ENG were bending the knee. sMPC might even be useful to LINK but that doesn't change the simple fact ENG devs literally raided the LINK Telegram to baaww and are now knee bending with the rest of them.

Chain link killer?

>Ay to senpai apple is a McDonald's killer

Literally makes no sense. The projects are totally different

it definitely doesn't make sense, but that's what Enigma shills have been saying since over a year ago.
