Old head here, and I'm out of the loop. I've been wanting to diversify and explore cryptos and trading a bit more, but with so much information, I don't know where to begin.
So I have a bunch of information and questions, and I'm hoping people can steer it from there, provide info or links, and help hone in on, what's good and bad, and the next steps. Some of this will be very basic for many of you so bear with me.

First up is the coins themselves.
What are the top few coins in your opinions? Ones that you think will be around a bit going forward.
The one's I've heard of at all, or are considering so far, are Bitcoin, Chainlink, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and InitiativeQ and Maxcoin as underdogs or less known coins.
So which others should I absolutely know about or stay away from, or what must I know about the ones listed?

Next are the wallets.
Is there one that does them all? Which take separate wallets? I know some can use offline usb sticks as an option, but I'm probably looking for a software solution to start.
So far I've seen Electrum and Exodus. Are those any good, am I on the right track even?

Then there are the bank account and exchange questions. So ok, now I've picked some coins and a wallet, where do I trade them? What is accepted payment for initial coins? Paypal, credit cards? I've seen some sites LocalBitcoins and YoBit.net. What can you tell me about them? Then this leads to the withdraw and spending question. I've succeeded beyond my wildest dreams and want to spend some of my sweet crypto. Where do I spend it? How to change it back into dollars or silver? Is there a reliable method for this? Do I need a foregin bank account and enter the world of international finance?

Almost there. I have 2 categories of questions left. The first is about other trading platforms. Should I be using a platform such as TD thinkorswim? What can you tell me about it? Also, how do you feel about pulsewave trading? They seem to do ok from a lay perspective.

Lastly is some quick questions about site currencies. I see more and more site currencies pop up. The ones I'm familiar with are Minds, Steemit, Bitchute, and DTube. How do these relate to the other cryptos? How can I manage them, and should I get involved with those at all?

So I know it's a lot of questions, and maybe I'm too old for this after all and should stick to my bonds, clustered mutual funds, and silver stacking, but any info you can provide will help. Maybe a Friday night wasn't best time for thread, but hey I'm not going out. I'll be on for a few hours, back and forth from thread. Thanks ahead.
