i work as an IT consultant for leadership at a fortune 10 company. i ran the company's blockchain hackathon, etc. etc. blockchain is good for crypto currency, that's about it. it's niche middleware that will never find other uses. opportunity cost associated w/ smart contracts and immutability will prevent adoption, and without those things it's not blockchain anymore, and there are better toolchains to do what you want.

Ex: cryptography experts are unable to grasp economics and the important role played by modern banking thus they do not see Bitcoin or any form of blockchain as a valuable asset

There are also mutating keys, so you would theoretically have a very narrow window of time to crack a very complex algo.
