What's the best trade you've ever made, /biz ?

I bought 500 shares of 3par in spring 2010 just before a dell vs. HP bidding war. Bought in at $10 and sold out around $29.

Once had a neighbor who was retired at 35 or so. He told me he bought 10 grand of Monster Beverage at 30 cents per share. Don't know when he sold out but they're selling at $44 a share today after a number of splits.

Bought 25000 shares of AGS at .19 cents, it shot up to .44 and I sold.

I knew a couple guys at Twitch, and was given the opportunity to buy about 200k worth of the company way before the amazon deal was a glimmer in anyone's eye. By far the best equity/shares ive ever owned.

I went all in on XIV before the election thinking clinton would win but XIV skyrocketed even when she lost, that taught me to basically never believe financial news- they don't know what will happen and they don't know how things that could happen affect the market

Longed CHF/USD prior to election, sold out and then shorted the MXN in USD terms prior to Trump being elected. Put a Silver/USD short on as a hedge.

Silver dropped like a stone a few days later. Banked profit on both and doubled investment capital in two weeks, as leveraged and went in big.

Probably the best trade I made (one where everything went as planned).
