- Fantom is consensus. Lachesis aBFT and TxFlow aBFT — two asynchronous byzantine fault tolerant consensus algorithms which are looking to compete with their synchronous counterparts. This consensus is compatible with the EVM and Cosmos SDK, and can be used by anyone to build their own blockchains or blockchain applications on top of.

So instead of focusing on building ''another blockchain'' or the best blockchain available, we focus on a very specific layer instead, our specialism. That way it's more future proof and allows us to adapt to changing demands and to focus on supporting the SDK's and stacks that are worthwhile.

- The foundation focus on the adoption of the consensus, so that can be any kind of blockchain product. Right now we are really excited for XAR Network which will work with a premier African bank to issue its own mainnet, supporting CDP/CSDT like functionality (Stake FTM — mint USDF, similar to stake ETH - mint DAI). But also borrowing, lending, including a decentralized exchange.

this chain will also be used for fiat-backed stablecoin issuance (so we have a DAI-like stablecoin which is collateralized by FTM, but we also have a 1:1 backed fiat stablecoin being issued on top by a bank which is more like an USDC or a TUSD.)

Babby doesn’t even know what a DAG is. I bet you never had byteball. It’s just a more efficient version of a blockchain more like a blockweb

How does that disagree with what I said m8

Nano pumped on a simular premise (using DAG for fast payments) but FTM has actual real world adoption and a much more competent team behind it.
If FTM were to just match Nano in terms of market cap its a 10x from here. Fantom's scope is so much larger though, it should and will be way higher than Nano.

And unlike nano, the only exchange you could buy it on exit scammed and fucked the entire coin, FTM doesn’t have that probpem

Bit grail can burn in hell though
