I think you haven’t read their papers on their business model but advertisement will be around 75% of their revenue as well as taking fees from paywalls and other paid features of the app and selling data. So with more restrictions due to privacy Howdoo had to implement new ways to attract advertisers to their platform. To run a campaign on Howdoo the app will take a fee for running the campaign like any other social platform. Users are incentivized to share their data that they are comfortable with sharing with the network in exchange to a share of the ad revenue.
