People have been talking about the markets globally crashing and people having to turn to gold and other investments so that they might protect their assets and he's has probably been reading too much into the theory of financial exchanges and not allowing himself to recognize reality and that him as himself is fine, as lower end jobs are secured by supply and demand, especially with Christmas around the corner.

Like that stuff with china, they were saying there was going to be a trade war and a collapse, but that didn't happen. They say that there is going to be a worsening situation with Brexit, but that will just turn around into self propagation, with outside trade still being widely available.

The world is going to be alright man, just explain to him that prices fluctuate, but there isn't going to be a crash any time soon, and if you are working, then you and your family are going to be just fine. Remind him of that please, and thank you
