They were referencing an old thread in which a based Chad bought ETH at $15-20 because he saw its potential, told everyone else why they should buy ETH in a calm, collected and intellectual manner (as opposed to shilling it like 99% of status quo /biz/), and was ignored/rebuked by /biz/ because this board is full of lemmings.

That ETH Chad went on to make half a million off of $2k, then proceeded to become a BAT whale. He's probably still holding bags to this day, but the point is, people who bought ETH had a vision of what ETH could become. Same goes for BAT. Smart anons see its potential.
