Although the risk is a lot higher in extremely low marketcap coins, the project that do turn out profitable for you will dwarf the losses.
It is a viable investment strategy to invest in 10-20 so called shitcoins (outside top 500 marketcap), most of them will fail, but the few that doesn't will easily x100 and outweigh the losses.
