if you look into tensorflow or machine learning applications, it requires GPU acceleration at a massive scale. but aside from consumer machine learning applications, anyone's theories about initially creating AI, are saying it would require massive computational power. nick bostrom, who spoke at google, says that AI might start with whole-brain emulation, which would take the computation of many of today's data centers worth of processing

even if AI isn't going to happen anytime soon, google will be trying, and are continually scaling up gpu accelerated machine learning usage.

You have limited day trades if you're using Robinhood Instant, which is what basically gives you a "loan" when you sell a stock so you can instantly buy another one instead of having to wait days for the money. It's worth it, doesn't cost you a thing, but the day trade limit comes a thing.

If you go to the "account" area on the app and scroll down, you'll see what day trades you have made. Every time you're about to perform a day trade, Robinhood will warn you with a message. Pattern day trade protection is on by default, so Robinhood will gray out the "buy" or "sell" button for you, so you can't possibly get in trouble unless you turn off pattern day trade protection.

However this protection doesn't protect you from fucking yourself if you're all out of day trades and you decide to get into a high volatility stock, which takes a turn and starts to crash as your "sell" button is grayed out.

You don't have to worry about day trading then, but Robinhood Instant is really nice, especially since you're just playing around with $70. When you sell those stocks, you're not going to be able to buy another one until it "clears". It's worth the limited day trades, in my opinion, and most of us use Instant and just "call it a week" on meme stocks when we run out of them. Once you run out of day trades, you can still buy and sell stocks, just not within the same day of course.
