When the fuck is the alt market going to move?

This entire market from April 2018 to present has basically been bitcoin only plus a couple alts like painstink. The rest of the alt market has done absolutely jack shit and has been in a deep bear for 2 goddamn years.

What is next? Does it crab for another year? Are we on the cusp of a breakout like what happened in early March 2017?

WHAT IS YOUR VIEW???

A whole nother year of bear?

Based off the last cycle, yeah.
I would add this, if BTC can get passed ATH before the halving, the fomo could be huge. Add that Fomo, halving, and easier avenues for wall street to enter. That money will snatch up Bitcoins too at a time when I won't be selling.
Unless Satoshi gets an uncontrollable addiction market might not have a lot of BTC to go around. Maybe BTC gets to $50k before the halving, I could see that starting Alt season earlier with all the new fomo money.

Alts need 1 of 2 things, imo, for price to go up as a whole. BTC has to have big gains passed ATH to filter down to them, or a rush of new money.
All altcoiners have picked their picks and split their market share. Wall street would do it slighlty less, slightly different but how is a guess.

Some will shit on using supply cycles to get direction of where we are but the OG BTC whales and wall street dudes like Mike Novogratz and Anthony Pompliano understand the significance.

This has only begun to pick up steam, people like me we only got our BTC bible last year. The BTC standard, when alts started to dive against BTC april 2018, I think.

What alts are you in? Literally everything I'm in pumped in the past few months. Most of my holdings were always in LINK, other than that it is in order of highest value of holdings:
ETH
HOT
RLC
XLM
MKR
ENG

Hold a tiny bit of XMR, Kybernetwork...

Currently I feel like all of my coins are doing ok. I came to terms with the idea that many of my shitcoins would go to 0 and consolidated into the few I felt had some longterm appeal. (Sold all my NEO, OMG, REQ.)

99% of alts will go pretty much hit zero. Some of the alts around had crazy promises, many of the China hustles remind me of the early days of the stock market when people would PnD their stock by saying they developed a machine that can turn chickens into sheep.

We are already in a MASSIVE alt season. People who don't think we are probably bought bad coins during the 2017 hype.

against the $ and other fiats. Not against BTC

Sure alts have pumped in the last 2 months, but only if you bought the absolute bottom. For most people alts are still shit

Isn't it obvious, even by just anecdotally looking at biz, there's no one here people have lost interest and all normies hype is gone. The 2017 bubble was the peak and crypto is still way way over valued

>> No.16293701

>>16293674
why would it have been overvalued in early 2018 when most people in the world didn't really have access to buying crypto though?

I've got to think new exchanges will have the possibility of bringing in new money, like institutions, boomers etc

>>16293648

I bought most my alts in around feb/march 2019 so I'm not down by that much

Shit man, you'll be good, what do you hold?

People like this guy don't know shit. No where in traditional markets have they had a 2019 like BTC. This stuff goes in cycles like everything else.
Want gains during down season, buy shit that's actually being used with low inflation. BNB is a great one, MKR too. I see shit like WAU or SHOCK or whatever that gets better gains than 95% here. If you want the next big moonshot that's anyone's guess but the market is moving away from ICO's and becoming wiser to what matters and who can deliver.
