Yeah I wouldn't be trading options on these necessarily. But the only stocks that really have a ton of volatility in those lists are AMRN, TTD (just because it shot up about ~15% this week), and YEXT.
But both TTD and YEXT were recommended buys from Montly Fool the last time I checked though. And they do a lot of research of their own.
I'm confident in the others.

I hope anons just make safe investments and diversify their accounts. Don't go all in on a single company, have a portfolio.
>>16244233
From what I've seen, AMRN is the only company that is using EPA from fish oil rather than HPA from fish oil (what their competitors use).
HPA has been proven to increase LDL (bad) cholesterol whereas EPA lowers triglycerides without increasing LDL levels.

In a clinical trail Amarin did, it was shown to lower triglycerides by 33% compared to the placebo. That's MASSIVE. And all without raising LDL.
Every boomer and their grandma taking the current fish oil pills with HPA will switch to Amarin's pill.

That's one of the primary reasons why I'm confident that the meeting tomorrow and on the 28th of Dec will go well. The results are too massive to ignore.

I feel confident in it, and one of my primary reasons is laid out here: >>16244333

As the reports stand now, I can't think of a reason as to why it wouldn't pass. Unless something is really wrong with EPA from fish oil. But even though I've heard from an anon here that some EPA metabolizes into HPA---even if that were the case---the studies speak for themselves and the LDL still doesn't increase significantly like with the current HPA fish oil pills as it lowers triglycerides in patients.

Unless the company has falsified data, their studies through out all of the FDA trails, and has dumping their own stock for profit right now (which to my knowledge they haven't)--I really can't think of a reason why they wouldn't pass the FDA (unless something is rigged against them).
Less productive drugs have passed before Amarin's Vascepa, so that's also something to consider especially when thinking about how the current fish oil pills passed. And this fish oil pill is more revolutionary than many of the products that have been given the green light before.
But I suppose only time will tell.

So a few weeks ago I got serious about trading options. I have to wagecuck so It is difficult but I have been making it work and have had a large winning streak since then. If I used more than a couple hundred dollars per trade I would have some serious money right now.
This morning was the first time I woke up for work and thought it would be easier to make money trading, sure enough I made more from my trade today than I did from my salary.
If I can keep making smart trades I might start heavily considering quitting my job in the next year.
pic related is when I started taking options seriously.

I don't have a strict strategy but what I am doing different is making sure to have reasons when I make a trade.
For example when Mcdonald's board fired the CEO the stock correct further after already correcting from a somewhat weak earnings report. I bought calls because the dip from one person leaving a company was reactionary and irrational and the stock looked overdue for a bounce which sure enough happened the next day.
Which leads me to my next rule, do not be afraid to sell for profit. It is so tempting to sit on an option when your up 50-100% and the stock looks strong but fuck that. Profit is profit and I will take every single percent I have in front of me and put it in my pocket.

what are the odds of SGMO getting bought out in the near future, or some other type of major event like that, M&A-related? i've been hearing a lot of whispers around stocktwits and IV getting louder and louder as time goes on and the stock price continues to rise. anyone know anything?

i mean it makes sense, i can't shake the feeling that it's gonna happen soon (like december, maybe january). they keep coming out with more and more good data, have a bunch of suitors via their current partners who have inside information on the drugs they are partnered with, they've gotta know that if they keep waiting and more and more confirmation keeps coming out to the public, that the price of buying SGMO is going to skyrocket compared to what it would cost now. or a competitor could scoop them up and fuck over the BP who knew it was good shit but got cold feet and now have serious competition on their hands.

PFE seems like the most likely candidate because they own SB-525 which is continuing to have golden results come out every time we get new data on it, for it to be "best in class". makes sense that that is what everyone is whispering about currently, that gene therapy is the whole reason i invested in the company in the first place. i'm just surprised im hearing so much hushed chatter about buyout happening all of a sudden, way more now than it used to be, and with a new CFO leading the way... just makes too much sense to all be coincidence.

You don't give up, you use that 650 bucks to read more technical analysis and try again. The emotional trader is the one that hodls till death and buys in at the worst times possible. Educate yourself and be free of the burden. Trade for tradings sake, Put in $100 and play around with it, read charts like on trading view or even better Think or Swim.
Better yourself not for the money, but because you want to beat retail traders and come out on top.
NEVER GIVE UP.

If you are not a Christian I recommend reading the Holy Bible starting from the New Testament. Jesus Christ came to save us, died on the cross for our sins, and rose 3 days later conquering death. Eternal life is free, believe in Jesus Christ and be saved.

In the Old Testament the Lord was leading His people. Teaching them in the way they should go. Those who went against His ways met their end to teach us, to show us what we should abstain from. He is God and as such He says what is right and what is wrong. Even in the New Testament it is written:

1 Corinthians 10:6
Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.

Forgiveness, He was always forgiving. For how many time did He send prophets to His people to turn them to repentance to lead them on the straight and narrow? Forgiveness he gave. In the end He is who He is. Now you have the opportunity, if you aren't already one of the saved, read the Holy Bible. Be saved for when there will come a day where the saved will walk into eternal life and the unsaved will walk into eternal damnation. Which side do you want to be on?

>Marketing.
I'm leaning towards that lately, though I'm not entirely cynical about it.

Old Testament was preparing people for a life of constant toiling and danger, just about everyone needed to farm the land or herd animals to survive. The message was the world (God) is cruel and will take everything from you, but there's a way to live well. Living by the book doesn't guarantee anything, but it's the best you can do in the hopes of surviving and bettering things for your children.
>Shit's hard but you get to drink wine on Friday night

New Testament was preparing people for a different world where there were craftsmen and artisans and not everyone slaved away their whole lives, so there was a reason to portray God (the world) as more forgiving.
