Fantom will do 50k + tps fornaccounts based transactions with 0.7s finality. Sc logic will obviously he slower but a vast improvement above ethereum's EVM. At least 90% faster based on gas cost modeling improvements and other changes. But even with sc logic fantom will have 0.7s finality vs etheruem's 6 minutes.

Also with ethereum, all the network must work on one operation at a time. With fantom each node can work on a different operation simultaneously.

We will have network performance benchmarks within next few weeks.

FVM released in 2020 will be an even greater improvement on sc processing.
